Basic pay on statutory maternity pay is £76.75! I was prepared for a big drop this week as my 26 weeks on ordinary maternity leave is up, but this is a lot lower than expected.
We all got our back dated pay etc this week so this maybe why it is lower but i would have thought it would not change my basic pay amount.I will phone HR tomorrow, I guess they will be very busy right now. Anyone out there in the know? I have been in this job 15 years and paid weekly if that makes a difference.

£136.78 or 90% of your average weekly earnings (whichever is lower).

Thanks i thought it was wrong to much for them to work out in one go with the back dated pay going in
