Do you mean because of the pay deal being voted on - the answer would be No unless you are AWR qualified, then I would think you would be but i am not 100% certain.

Re: Angard Staff
Yes I have been AWR qualified for over a year so I am hoping so any extra cash would be handy however as I understand it voting yes to the new agreement would mean at least partially giving up your right to strike?. So if I was in your position I would vote NO.TrueBlueTerrier wrote:Bazza01 wrote:Does anyone have any idea if Angard casuals will receive back pay for shifts worked

5. Do you qualify for equal treatment after 12 weeks?
You qualify for equal treatment if you’ve worked in the same job with the same hirer for 12 weeks. This is known as the ‘qualifying period’.

Re: Angard Staff
Basically means I have done the job for over 12 weeks and have most of the same rights like same pay and breaks as any other royal mail worker doing the same job.gluteus maximus wrote:Excuse my ignorance

Re: Angard Staff
Interesting as i am familiar with the Agency Workers Directive
Am i correct i believing that you have no rights as to collective bargaining agreements as you are a worker, and not an employee. That being your contract of employment is with angard, and not Royal Mail. All you will be entitled to after 12 weeks continuous employment are the normal entitlement as to express terms in a regular Royal Mail employee contract of employment, nothing else
In what i have described, how can you be eligible for back pay etc as any claim will be with angard, and not royal Mail
Just thinking out loud on this issue

Re: Angard Staff
All I am sure about is that AWR qualified staff are entitled to be paid the same as royal mail employees doing the same job as for any back pay entitlement opinion is split.gluteus maximus wrote:Interesting as i am familiar with the Agency Workers Directive
