Agree 100%, when they come sneaking around for representation, pass it up to the branch, along with the reasons for your refusal to representbillypants wrote:or the other view is to just keep taking their subs week after week and then refuse to represent them should they ever need the help . . . . . . take their money AND let them rot
the shitbags. Shouldn't be too long before they get kicked out then.

But if they don't get the representation they pay for, then they'll resign their membership, won't they ?DirtyHarry wrote:Agree 100%, when they come sneaking around for representation, pass it up to the branch, along with the reasons for your refusal to representbillypants wrote:or the other view is to just keep taking their subs week after week and then refuse to represent them should they ever need the help . . . . . . take their money AND let them rot

Oops, for a moment there, I was confusing them with people like us, who have morals, principles and backbone

Re: strike breakers
Comrade afraid that they are covered by Section 65 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992.yogibear wrote:Will we be kicking the strike breakers out of the union?

If they had an ounce of integrity (which we all know they don't) the craven, snivelling, cowardly, self-interested, lousy, low life scum would resign from the union.

There is a DO not too far from ours where a scab has put a complaint in against two union brothers who refuse to speak to him after he worked through the last strike. The three of them were mates, but not now. As they both said, RM can't make people talk to anyone. Personally, I think this is better than a mouthful of abuse. If you say nothing at all to them, it can't be misinterpreted.
