office relocation

Hi our delivery office may soon be relocating does anybody have any details of the process we will have to follow ?

we were relocated 3 years ago they gave us traveling expense's for 3 years which was paid in one payment, this was a mistake on our part as royal mail take 12% of it before tax and then you pay tax. if you take it weekly you only pay tax so you end up with 12% more.

Do you mean being absorbed into a larger Delivery Office ?

Yes moving into their DO but kept as a separate section. Thats the story anyway!

Rumours we could move to big office sometime. Biggest issue is the extra 25/30 minutes van driving to/from delivery.If we add up the extra work + time needed each week, its another F/T job needed. Also, not sure how it works if you move in to the same DO but keep `separate` either.

we moved in to another DO they kept us separate, mail comes on different York's different postcodes ect. but the packets come in mixed up. we had to alter routes to cover extra millage means no more easy walks as they are more or less the same now all rural.

Do you get dragged into `their` ips + lapsing/absorbtion or is that kept separate aswell ?

no we are a separate office in one building with the same dom, but if we have no one on holiday the spare has to help out wherever.
