Pay rate for Sunday night working CSS machines

A colleague has asked for the Sunday evening pay rate for working the CSS machines.

I believe a 10 pm start

2 hours sunaday rate
You get no money for css machine
You get tpm for cleaning machine
Approx £22 FOR 4 DAY SHIFT

I work Sunday night/Monday morning on CSS machines and there is no additional payment made for Sunday.

In MPU's an operator receives basic pay, night shift allowances and TPM allowance (cleaning the machine), as well as delivery supplement and defined area supplement.

The only alternative is if they are covering the duty on SA or overtime, then they lose the allowances.

The Way Forward specifies a payment to be made for conditioned hours worked on a Sunday and I don't recall it being scrapped any time since then (could be wrong though). This is what the Way Forward said on the subject (obviously the payment amount will be different now):

Where Sunday hours are worked within conditioned hours, there will be an additional pensionable premium payment of £3.83 per hour worked.

Yes there is a payment , we just had this in London and some MPUs have paid the Sunday premium just over £4 and some have not. We have just agreed that some CSS operators are owed up to 80 week and will be receiving the back pay within the next couple of weeks.
