sick of getting crap through my door from moya saying dont strike this will effect our company it should say ' dont strike this will effect my bonus'

surley they should be telling us if our jobs our save etc and the future

Deputy manager are the way forward, cheaper alternative plus you can make them do deliveries. Managers should be afraid. And full-time staff.

I would agree that Managers are probably a likely target for cost savings. There's a hell of a lot of them and let's be honest a lot of them do very little.

Full Time Posties have been a target for the last couple of years, probably with an eye on the sell off, every time a full Timer leaves he's normally replaced by a Part Timer. For the Management this has the advantage of a Part Timer eager to earn some extra cash, as lets face it not many people can live on those wages, therefore it's easier for them ( the Managers) to move staff around and chop and change without too many complaints. I think Full Timers will continue to be "Culled", perhaps they plan on simply giving the appropriate notice and then changing those Full Time T&Cs. I hope not.

There's obviously too many variables and non of us have any idea of what's likely to happen. Perhaps with new ownership we might get some quality people at the top, under pressure to make Improvements to the Business (Not just Savings). Imagine a Business where we were all pulling in the same direction towards a common goal? How much profit could we make then? Minus the Management Bullshit & Penny Pinching in one area and wasting Christ knows how much on Crap in others.
