Is this Discrimination

Story is we had a revision six months back,it took a while before we signed for our new duties,so now been signed for for a couple of months now.I had been a floater for the last 5-6 years but rarely did the duty as i know most of the duties in the office and when challenged being moved the manager would come out with it was OPERATIONAL NEEDS.This time i signed for a single round thinking i would be on that duty only,i have not got through a single week without being moved somewhere else.The question is this discrimination as no one else gets moved from their round they have signed for.

Is it discrimination? No.
Is it unfair - very probably.

You need to sit down with your manager and rep and discuss why you are unhappy with being moved around while others are not.
If you get no joy from this then use the grievance procedure.
If you are being moved because you are the only one capable then they need to look at training issues.

you ob know the rounds v well and get the work dun. the manager knows this and 2 b honest prob relies on you doing it. is it fair no it aint, you picked your duty so you wana be on it. have a chat with the dim and see why you being mucked around
