Length of Sick Pay

Hi All.

I would like clarification on Pay rates for absences caused by AOD's.

Can anyone please tell me if I'm entitled to 12 months sick pay at the full rate due to my absence being as a result of an Accident at Work and on delivery?

I've recently had my pay decreased as RM say they are no longer able to pay me SSP but I was under the impression that if the absence is related to an AOD then they pay full rate up to a 12 month period and not 6 months as per the norm.

Any help and importantly supporting policy documents would be gratefully received. I would like to be able to show my manager the policy document so there are no misunderstandings!!....

I have been in touch with both our HR team and Accident Management Unit. They have made me aware that this scheme should be discussed as part of the Accident Reporting process, through the relevant lone manager.
