miss delivery

can anyone tell me what this miss delivery training thing is that you sign for when a customer makes a complaint been with royal mail 3 years never had one but signed today to say i will take more care etc.

anyone give me information on abit more? how many can you get etc?

I wouldn't worry too much really, it may have been a workplace coach talking to you about it, if it wasn't this time , it will be in the future, they would go through a TWTTP form with you, if you said you were familiar with the process they would then go through a thing called a HERCA with you to find the root cause of a problem, gone are the days of beating you with a hammer hopefully, you will just get some refresher training on whatever it may be.

manager just made me sign a form saying how i wont do it next time and the steps taken to make sure it doesnt happen again had 2 in 3 months never had any oooopppssss been on a different round everyday

They're just following procedure, in our office it's all done by the workplace coaches, if a mistake keeps happening on a walk by the same people it just gets highlighted for a training issue, like I say it's nothing to worry about....just take a little more time when on a new walk.

Tell your boss it won't happen again because you'll slow down so you can pay more attention to what you're doing but this will mean you're unable to complete your delivery :-)

When i was trained back in 1989 we were told it was a serious issueand you could be disciplined for it maybe its time for the next wave of dismissals

perhaps all the info you needed is on the thing you signed.
i suggest you stuff up again and when they come round with this thing for you to sign you read it first.
