sickness-owing days

Can anyone advise me
I am on a 25hr contract,working compressed hours,working 2 weeks,then a week off.
had a fall/blood clot in leg in 2012, off sick 126 days. manager advises me today that because I havent accrued
the rest days for the weeks off whilst on sick
I owe 45 days to Royal Mail,as I work compressed hours, and only entitled to the rota week off,only if I
have actually worked the hours..I had sicknotes all the way though sickness,then interviewed by ATOS and
put on light duties for a time
this has come about as the staff have started working to rule. Other members of staff have had similar
notifications

It's rubbish.
You don't "owe" Royal Mail anything.
The same applies to you as the 1 in 6 (Wallington) people.

There is no need for any adjustment to attendances because of working days lost
to sickness. Obviously there is also no need for recording any sickness on days
off during the sixth ‘off’ week (which is equivalent to sickness at a weekend for
someone who works a Monday to Friday job), if no working days are affected.

Contact your rep/branch.

The Manager is a SH**E what F T says holds the field, recommend that you speak to Rep ASAP
