Was asked today wether there is a time limit on return to work meetings and stage warnings?
ie, you return to work on Monday 1st sept for instance and you are not asked in for your return to work meeting until Weds Sept 10th and you should be issued with a stage warning, do you still get the stage warning issued? even though it has taken 10 days to have the return to work meeting?
Cheers :)

Re: Attendance Question.
Get the stage warning back dated to the date you returned to work

Re: Attendance Question.
not the answer I was looking for
but thank you
can the Dom be too late in asking you to a return to work meeting and give you a stage warning?
does it have to be done in a certain time or does it not matter as it will be back dated to the original date anyway.
trying to see if I can get a member off a stage warning because the Dom has taken too long in issuing it
Cheers

Re: Attendance Question.
A return to work interview and stage warning interview are two different things.
Return to work is informal and a general 'are you ok to return?' etc. These can be done properly, very informally or not all all...
A stage warning interview is part of a formal process and should take place soon after it has been triggered, in my experience no more than 2 weeks ( without very good reason) after the member has returned to work is acceptable.
Any longer than this the rep should be asking for the stage warning to be backdated.
Not known anyone 'get off' a stage warning because of lack of return to work.
However have had members stage warnings backdated because of an unacceptable length of time in the issuing of them.

Re: Attendance Question.
Stages are now reviews 1 and 2 and both last for 6 months you will be on review 1 because you have had off 14 days in the last 12 months and your stage from 2012 has cleared.
