With our revision completed ( all our input was ignored may I add ) the task of going to work on a daily basis is boarding on horrific , every morning I get up and try and think of a excuse not to go in, I've mentioned this to other people and it seems to be widespread. Our union rep is useless and is just a puppet for the managers who intimidate us virtually on a daily basis questioning our individual performances and are always comparing us to each other is also a common event. The duties are way too big and the chance of completing on or before time is impossible, the workloads are astronomical for example today between two of us ( fairly busy day ) 22bags of mail for 12 loops, 5 S/D's, 16 tracked, 12 sign for plus 10+ large packets all this to be done in a 4 hour window !! officially the duties have been timed at 3 hrs 15 roughly each ..
where they got those times from I just don't know, when we questioned the planner at the time we were just fobbed off
. There are arguments every single day and the work place is a s**t hole to work in also in my eyes this is only going to get worse cos I feel we have no support or backing from OUR union.
