Revison issues

Our ongoing office revision saga continues, this time regarding the resign.

Our manager is rushing through our resign (claiming the whole office can be done in 3 days). it needs to be in by 7th October, even though the duty builders have not been completed. if u are on hols and are unable to make a choice!!, it will be allocated for you, even if u are abroad etc. Also even if you in work but your preferences are gone, no extra time will be given to decide. No official reason why the 7th October is the deadline. Manger will not take this ruling out, which is now stressing our staff out.

Have other offices had this issue?, or have your resign been conducted in a fair manor?, is it even an official rule?

Each member is entitled to 24 hours.

no, but the dom is brainwashing the staff into voting yes, this is unwanted pressure. dom is desparate not to have a no vote.
so 24 hours is a legal choose for staff to have? there is only a handful of staff abroad at that time but were told to find internet and check everday for an update, this is on your holiday!!!. so people might not have access to internet. if not your duty will be allocated, surley and form of grievence/bullying!

If people are on hols they either have to leave a preference list of up to 10 jobs or be contactable.

For everyone else it's 24 hours if they want

thx for the answer but if you are 40 in the seniority, your preferences will likely be gone, and duty be chosen for u it is that reason that is grinding people, and if u cannot be contacted abroad as someone is got a villa in spain in the mountains where no interenet is avail!!! (lucky sod)

Our 6 week ,,,pencil revision was past a cpl weeks ago ,, why can't they start the proper revision when it's supposed to happen ,like 2 weeks ago ?? Anyone else had same problems !?

If as an office you are so unhappy with the procedure being forced on you then simply dont play ball, what are they going to do?

Best to get your rep to put a disagreement in about undue pressure and then renegotiate the terms you are happy with as an office. I suggest if dim has such a timetable, then the pressure is on him, simply dont play ball, get everone to delay it as much as poss. Sorry dim but i am really not sure, can i have a couple more days to review my options,please sir
