Hi

Can anyone give me any and all advise about revisions.

We have just had the results from georoute and it says most walks are to have 200 extra delivery points added. This along with all the extra packets and sharing a round and using trolleys is simply crazy.

Is there any way they have configured georoute wrongly so that it gives back wrong results cos it just don’t add up to us.

What is the agreed walk speed gioroute is meant to use, and can I find out what walk speed gioroute used to design our walks.

I've been off this week , so I don't know the latest
But we are due to start ours in a month
But the walks haven't changed anything like 200 houses extra
Not even sure we lost any walks

Make sure planner has allocated the route to a park and loop lwt, and or rural if that's what they are.

Attendance calls are key to a successful revision.

You need to have a count for 4 weeks of every round.

Every knock.

12-14% is the magic number, though the Dom will get pressured to say 6 and lose 20 mins per day off deliveries giving more calls

Well 200 drops on every walk sounds like a hell of a lot to me, they must have screwed up somewhere surely?

the planner who is currently doing our's had georoute set so when we had blocks of flats, it had a box at the bottom of the stairs for all flats!!!
needless to say, they hav'nt and it had to be redone.

I may be wrong but have the CWU told every unit not to get involved with revisions until the current dispute has been resolved

What is your delivery span pre-revision?
And what is your delivery span post-revision?

If you've gone from 3h 30 to 4h 15, that might explain it.
200 delivery points could be 2 blocks of flats or it could be 200 houses with long drives.
Out of context the figure is meaningless.
