bag checks by manager

Hello clever blokes on here i need a bit of advise maybe

today i was stopped by my dom and asked if this other manager did a bag check on me last week
i said no nobody has checked my bag ever
he said oh because he has put down that he checked your bag and a letter was left in it
i was not amused and said that was totally untrue as i have never had a bag check and i never leave my bag on my frame its always with me
he said ok dont worry about it

BUT I AM surely a manager cant make out hes done checks when they have not and especially putting down that he found a letter in my bag grrrr

what course of action can i take if any ?

surely there would have to be a witness to bag checks ?

It's a security check.
Clipboard,bag checked,nothing to see...sign here.
All security checks should be signed for otherwise not much point in having them unless you want to open yourself up to being fitted up like the OP.

Same here. Had one a few months back and I don't think we were given a sheet to sign.
They used to do em years ago. Get you as you were coming in at 5:30am. I'm positive there was no signing then either.

In my office, when a bag check is done there is paperwork to sign, and the Rep is on the gate as our witness.
The manager referred to in the OP is a twat, probably has failed in his job and is now covering his job. (Or hers).
