Hi I am really worried think I am going to be sacked. I am on a stage 2 and have had 2days off in January and 2 days off last week. I suffer from depression and the dom knows this. Would I be covered under the dda act. Thanks

Whether you are covered by the DDA would depend on many factors:
How long has the depression lasted.
The severity of the depression.
What medication you are using - if any.

There isn't a simple answer.
Nobody on here will be able to give you a definitive answer.

What i would suggest is that you take the time to have a good read of this

ithe decision as to whether or not you are classed as "disabled" will ultimately be for an employment tribunal to make, but you may find that the employer, does accept that you are [likely] to be classed as disabled and therefor, fall within the jurisdiction of the equality act.

the majority of absences you refer to, which make up the stage of the attendance procedure you are at, would have to be attributable to your "disability"
