TUPE protection

I as many members am worried that when we go private our terms and conditions may change for the worse!
The thought of being on min pay or losing our jobs, overtime is uppermost in lots of members minds.
I did a bit of research and it appears that TUPE, protects our pay and conditions "unless there is an 'economic, technical or organisational' reason" (ETO). It also says there is no time limit on Tupe.
Am I correct? Does Tupe give us some protection against the change.

TUPE covers you if one company takes over another , I'm sure if they wanted to we could all be made redundant and then taken back on new contracts.

Not from my reading of Tupe, "unless there is an 'economic, technical or organisational' reason" (ETO). Well let's hope it's right! I am desperate to get to the finishing line, before they finish us off!

TUPE gives you about as much protection as an umbrella would if a piano fell on your head.
Depending on how we're sold it might not even apply.
Forget TUPE,the only thing that will protect your terms and conditions is you and the people beside you(not now obviously,at work,the only one beside me now is my dog).
Educate,organise and mobilise.

What a beauty, looks really majestic. I like dogs in general and love my border collie - although he's not that sociable and really though I kick his basketball for him and throw his Frisbee take him for walks and dry him off when he's been swimming it's the wife he dotes on Maybe that's why he's intelligent it's the wife who feeds him

Yep, you have to prioritise and I wouldn't say "reduced" I would say privileged.
