I want to get all my units members together for a meeting.

What are my rights on this?

My Dom has refused it in the past.

Ideally I'd have 5 mins with everyone in the canteen.

What I've done is ask DOM, if he says no, I've then tried to get all OPG to meet at the gate before the start of the day. If your members want to hear what you've got to say, then they will make the effort.

I had that argument once with someone who is now a director down south.
He said if you want to talk to them take them to the gate,I said i would but once out at the gate i couldn't promise i could get them back in,he said just use the canteen.

You can't advocate strike action but if you want to have a union meeting, just tell your members where and when and those that want to come will come.
Do it during your break if it avoids confrontation and be prepared for all o/t requests to be declined.

wtll is a joint workshop as in agreement.You have the right to bring up a cwu issue within the weekly meeting.Use it to bring up your issues
