hello, i maybe becoming a rep, just wondering how you apply fot release for section meetings?

I am also in the process of becoming our rep, nomination is in and should be confirmed in a week or so.
have been informed by my DOM that I need to attend a couple of meetings with him in another DO regarding our revision, so at a guess, if you are required to attend meetings, courses etc then you will be given the time to do so by your DO.

Some jumped up little line manager will probably tell you you have to come into work before the meeting but you don't. So don't.
