hi want a answer to a question

as its really important for two of my collegues

two part timers applied for full time jobs 2 weeks ago they got the dutys and 1 driving 1 walking everything was fine till today

and they have said now that the dutys have become part time so there hours will drop to what they was previously on if the previous full timers was on those jobs they would deffo still be full time

this stinks are they allowed to do this

the 2 ppl on these dutys are seriously pissed off as had 2 weeks of full time money now gotta go to part time its a joke

There are two issues.

Yes.
It is unfortunately unlikely the rep will be able to help the part-timers unless they were promised full-time contracts to match the duties,picking a duty that was done by a full-timer is not the same as picking a full-time duty however if the members were led to believe this then that is in itself unfair.
The big question is where are the full-time hours going?

yep exactly they was told there hours would go up to match duty as was on the advert wen jobs went up the whole thing stinks and to be honest i shouldnt get involved as im just a normal postie on a stage 2 but i feel so strong on this issue as they getting shafed now it could be me next lol and i really hate to see ppl treated this way

no it was vacant dutys went up on the board advertised and said next to it if pt gets it hours will be made up to full time if got a ft duty

dont know about the wages but i remmember seeing advert they got a copy off stating full time hours

ive told the ppl concerened to email Moya Greene and tell them about situation cos a lot of peeps are seriously thinking of doin something about this
