hi i want to know how i become a sub rep as the guy has retired anyone know

Put your name forward to branch - if no one else is nominated you are elected by default.

Yes you should get training - in fact the training is ongoing.

ask the union to become one, aslong as you will b ok with being in the dom's pocket. thats the way to go these days

Well i would not be in no ones pocket i would want to be seen as transparent and supporting my work colleagues

Whatever you do don't say that out loud at the branch AGM,they'll have your credentials removed and a straight jacket fitted before you can finish the sentence.....
