Renumeration for expenses for attending a course.

Hi, I'm due on a course soon at Alvescot. The problem being I'm skint and I can't really afford to get there from Scotland and I'll certainly not have any spending money when I'm there. Does the union help out?
I don't want to cancel but I cannot spend a weeks wages getting there.

if you attended rally's they'd make sure your able to get there/home etc wherever you are in the country.

your branch should have booked or will remunerate you for the expense of the travel. if you don't have the money yourself at the moment ask you branch to pay for the travel for you instead of claiming it back after you have been. food is provided as is the accommodation so you may not get a lot of subsistence allowance , but really you wont need much.
