Honouring A/L
If you have A/L booked by one manager and a new one comes in and says you can't have it due to operational needs what can you do. I was always under the impression that if you have a/l booked and signed on the sheet that it HAD to be honored regardless of the circumstances.

Course they have to honor it,when was it booked...............not that it matters.

Well someone in our office managed to get 2 days before xmas and 1 day after !!! thats 5 days off at xmas lol but the manager is saying no one is allowed off during those periodsPOSTMAN wrote:Course they have to honor it,when was it booked...............not that it matters.

Yet another a.sh.le of a manager who has no concept of man management and getting everyone onside and working together. Your holiday has been booked, you have the paperwork confirming this, he is on a loser, tell him to go and do one.
