How does an employer terminate a temp contract? on what rights?
Can a temp be replaced by another temp.
if the temp was slower(because of resolvable medical conditions) is that enough reason to replace them?

all temp staff in our area have been made permanent even some who have been here 6 months

If you are a member officially you can get advice as soon as you join. However, the rules governing membership say that you cannot be represented for something that happened before you became a member.

That means if you were dismissed then joined - CWU cant help. If however, you joined and then were dismissed you could. This is to try and stop people joining just because they need help, and then leaving after its all sorted.

However, a rep if they want and are willing to help can advise you as a private person. But their advice would not be binding on the Union and you could not complain if the advice was wrong.
