hi. quick question. in our office we have to do 20 percent of d2ds each day on our duties. that way all are done by the saturday. if on my day off the person covering fails to do their 20 percent and some are left on saturday can i refuse to take these as i have done my share and dont actually get paid to do any extra. too many times im getting screwed over with this and others are getting away with it.

If you have the time then you have to do them............flag it up to your manager that you may need OT to complete them though.

Try not to worry about him, just make sure you flag it up that it will take you extra time on Saturday because you're finishing their D2Ds.

What i do is leave the floater a set piece of my delivery ,he does that all the time so if that part of delivery is not done he answers to it .

he should be done with wilfull delay and so should manager

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
