Are medical appts your "day off?"

Got a question for a CWU Rep? And all CWU related matters.

Are medical appts your "day off?"

Hi, I've got a Medical Appointment soon, related to an AOD/On going Legal case.

Am I allowed to attend this appointment, WITHOUT it being classed as my Day Off for that week? And if it is classed as my Day Off, can I claim it back in the future?
As this Day Off thing seems to be the regular practice so far...unfortunately in my experience.

What is more important? (swapping a scheduled day off to gather medical fact in support of your legal case or keeping a specific rest day).

Do you really think that Royal Mail should pay you attend a private appointment?

You could of course swap your day off and then in your legal case attempt to claim additional recompense for the stress caused in having done so.

i thought it was an atos appointment

Appointment was ATOS related, yes. Not Private...
Anyway, Solicitors have made offer for AOD, so appointment, which I WAS given a day for was succesful
