Criteria for meeting IHR

What exactly is the criteria for IHR. I know there is a 9 month time scale, but I agreed to taking IHR with my DOM and now ATOS have knocked me back, as they say I will make a recovery, so where do I stand ?

what generally happens is that royal mail will keep referring you to ATOS until they receive a report stating that you do meet the criteria

keep handing those fit notes in. They will soon take the hint.

I wasn't actually off sick with my injury, bar the 3-4 days after I did it. But, couldn't go out delivering mail, hence IHR. My manager actually put me forward for IHR as it had been a while since I did a whole delivery.
