Hi there,
how do managers get medical advice about employees with medical conditions?
Is it just ATOS? Are they obliged to comply?
What would happen if they just went on the internet and then tried to pretend that they knew what they were talking about?
And if they got it wrong, what could you do about it?
The manager said they had acted on advice but did not say where from.
I could see the advice was wrong as I suffer from the condition they were "mistaken" about. I've had contact with ATOS several times and the manager has received reports, then ignored them.
It's not tourettes, otherwise I'd tell them to F*** Off.
Thanks

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

They are supposed to comply.... but they only do when it suits them, when Atos say something they don't like i.e like when a manager has asked certain questions in his business referral, like can we ill health retire you and Atos says no then they suddenly come out with the it's only a recommendation bullshitealterego wrote:Is it just ATOS?
