Quadrant Pay 2011/12

Branches will be aware that you were informed via LTB 268/12 that an agreement in regard to pay had been concluded for our CWU represented grades in Quadrant.

LTB 268/12 further advised you that in conjunction with the SDGS department we were working to produce a ballot timetable. However, due to the significant changes taking place across Royal Mail we needed to ensure that the membership and address records were as accurate as possible.

A request was made that following the despatch of the current membership records from the SDGS department that the Quadrant membership within the Branches be checked and confirmed as accurate, or amended accordingly, and advised to CWU HQ by Thursday 19th April 2012.

Unfortunately at the time of preparing this LTB an extremely large number of Branches have failed to respond to this request. This is delaying the timetable for the ballot being concluded, which in turn is holding up the pay increases that have been negotiated on behalf of our Quadrant members should a yes vote be returned.

Could I therefore ask you to give this matter your most urgent attention and provide the information that has been requested to the SDGS department by no later than Friday 4th May 2012, in order that the ballot of our members in Quadrant is able to take place and ensure that the facility for them to vote on the proposed agreement is made available to them.

I would once again like to take this opportunity to thank Branch representatives for their prompt attention in this matter. However, if you have already supplied HQ with the requested information please ignore this LTB and accept my thanks for your response.

Quadrant Pay Claim 2011/12 Agreement Ballot Arrangements

Further to LTB 296/12, Branches are informed that the ballot arrangements for the Quadrant Pay 2011/12 Agreement have now been finalised and that the timetable will be as follows:

Ballot Papers Dispatched: Friday 11th May 2012
Ballot Closes: Friday 1st June 2012

Branch Secretaries are requested to ensure that our members are made aware of the content of this LTB and that every effort is made to encourage our members to use their vote.
