Heard summin today that an SE DO is having pay docked for cutting off.
Anybody know anything about this?

SE Office docked pay?/SE2 & SE28.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Just had some bits sent to me this is what went on,bare with it as it's from a few e-mails from someone there.
SE2 rep called a meeting with SE2 and SE28 WITH THE LINOS PERMISSION about the rejected deal on Thursday.
Meeting lasted about 15-ish minutes and was part of grace break.
Heavy day and later few SE2 bods went into office to say they wouldn't complete.
Hell broke loose and 1 van (Rep is the driver) was late going out,due to Lino calling him into his office twice rowing about it.
6 guys cut off,but only 1 from the reps van,5 others from other vans.
Fri morn more rows,Lino bending truth,word was time would be stopped,DSM came down,rep called in area rep.
7-15 SE2 went to canteen on DSM instructions for a meeting.
7-35 DSM goes to meeting which finishes bout 7-45.
DSM says at meeting,whole office to be stopped 20mins for original meeting on Thursday.
6 who cut off were to be docked a further 40 mins for the delay tactic in going out!!!
DSM would not listen to any thing from the rep and staff,like only 1 was on the reps van,the meeting was part of the grace break sanctioned by the Lino,the Lino delaying the rep going out,or the amount of work in.
Apparently he just walked out laughing.
Bout 20 mins later DSM call SE28 to canteen,after being told it was both offices at the meeting,blames SE2 and that SE2 are playing up and tells them they are docked 20mins as well.
It gets better.
Office hammered with work,bout 9-15 DSM tell DOM and Lino to tell SE2 that as they are not on their break yet,they are on a go slow and there will be NO CUT OFFS.
More arguments DOM and Lino shrug shoulders and say 'It's what i'm told to tell you'.
DSM shrugs shoulders and says 'It's what i'm told to tell you'.
Area rep contacts top London Manager who said to him 'Why ring me,you should be on our side'!!!
Area contacts CWU HQ and is ordered there as they will deal with it,as RM are out to get SE2 for being on the vans.
Everything had to be tied up and taken out,most left office around 11 some 11-30 for a 1-45 finish,mass cut off the order of the day.
Chances are more detail tomm,and no it's not made up
Oh 1 last thing,SE28 moaned like f**k about it,but just got in their Cars and finished the lot.

SE2 guys are the Streatham of SE London who are on your own IMHO,if we all done what SE2 guys are doing we would have won this dispute weeks ago.Why Postman are we not all on the vans by orders of HQ?We would not of had to loose a penny from I/A and fecked the Network up.We strike ok we are solid next day go in and everyones running round like nutters You guys need support and the quicker the better.

Spot on mate,see you worked out my ramblings in my e-mails!
I'm from sunny SE2 and more fun and games so far.
DSM gave out letters to some of us today,should be below if this post image thing works.
Seems when we cut off now we'll get docked a WHOLE DAYS PAY!
One of our guys asked him if this was deffo gonna happen as there was going to be MASS cut offs today as we were seriously hammered.
But the numnut wouldn't give an answer,said he'd make a decision tomorrow!
Lost his bottle the c***,as if he had said yes then what's the point of working today,to cut off,to lose a days pay,we we're gonna walk.
What is happening down our way is really pathetic,just because some of the guys don't use their cars.
Gone up to HQ again,area rep was down.
Oh btw i cut off with 4 bags,had 2hrs to do a walk that with the volume would of taken 4hrs!!!
Shame eh!
Our cut off book has mysteriously disappeared as well,so we can't show that certain walks have always cut off!!
And our traffic figures are very low
Had a new DOM today,the other one was demoted due to being.............well crap,this one's ok and was gonna stream the Mail Sort but DSM told him it weren't heavy and everything had to go.
Gonna have a lookie around the site now,letter should be below.

Actually I have to say that I am proud to work for Royal Mail and with all the posties (this includes all grades not just deliveries) that are standing up and fighting to keep the tradition of a service alive. However, I am not proud of anyone who is in it for themselves or is attempting to make this a profit first, service second business. At the moment we are stuck in the middle of both and its not good for either side, lets hope they sort it soon and that the public are the winners.

On tuesday we got the letter below,and we nearly walked because of it.
But area stopped us.
We were told as in the letter that our pay is being stopped for cutting off,or rather not working 'normally'
And here is a letter sent to RM.
Our pay was not stopped in the end for cutting off as we had 'resumed normal working!' nothing to do with a light day on Tuesday then!!
Some of us are due to go to HQ if this carries on to sign legal papers as the CWU will take RM to court over it
Latest is,we were stopped the 20mins for the 'unofficial' meeting but not the 40mins as HQ got their solicitors on it.
Also the drivers were stopped FIVE PENCE from their driving allowance
It WILL kick off again as we WILL cut off because of work volumes!!
Bit stressful at times but we're having a ball down here

watford have been on the vans for about 10 weeks caused f#####g chaos about 50 people so far have had their pay stopped for cutting off, trying to make us walk but havn't yet not going to give them the satisfaction. unit rep susspended today!!! their may be trouble ahead. keep your chins up SE2 and all the rest that are on the vans its hard work but Don't let the bastards grind you down keep smileing it winds them up.
