Stage one warning
Hi i have just been issued with a stage one warning for having 16 days off and two absences in the last twelve months. I have had no time off sick since 12 th november last year. I had my stage one warning issued me last week but at the interview i said it was not fair because they would not back date it from november last year. Can they do this. I was in the interview with my union rep who said that they should backdate it but this happens all the time.

put a grievance in. If the last time you were off sick was 6 months ago and they have only just decided to issue it that is an unreasonable amount of time. State in the grievance you think it is an unreasonable time to wait and in your opinion the stage should've been dealt with when you returned to work.

Farrrrrrkinell! 6 months! Should of been thrown out,HR only go back 3 months,also was a rep involved anywhere.
