What Is The Offer And What Are The Strings

Post by Senior Service »

Does any know what the actual offer was and what strings were attached, i am an ex CWU rep and i still get asked what is going on: myself and the present rep in all honesty dont know.

Why do both sides only give partial snippets or ridiculously simplified versions.

What is the truth - No propaganda from either side please.

We are the union and deserve to know what is happening

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

With respect one is just a brief summary with no mention of pensions etc, the other is the original wish list dating back six months or more. The question people keep asking me and i would like to know myself is where are we now in full not vague summaries.
e.g.
What is basic pay offer
Flexibility
Summer absorbtion
Early start money
Seniority
Pension conditions
Part time working
Voluntary Redundancy
Phantom Shares
Savings pay out
etc etc

They have had 5 weeks of talking it must add up to more than a few vague lines

Another questions - we appear to have slipped up by stopping industrial action just when it was taking effect; so have the union been stupid or RM been smart. I dont like the thought that either may be correct!
