IHR Question

Hi,

Had an appointment with an atos doctor and ihr was on the table. I said I did not want it and agreed a back to work date, but have now realised I have made a big mistake and going back will not do my health any good.

Is there anything I can do to still get ihr.

the atos report will be sent to your dom, he decides, you may still get it, but think it through and also see advice from the union as well. Dont rush the decision weigh up the alternatives, will you get just the lump sum or the lump sum with pension

If the offer was on the table then there is no reason why you could not write to your manager indicating that you may not after all guarantee a regular attendance with your present illness and could you be considered for IHR.

That's all I've been doing the last few weeks. I didn't want to lose my job, but now just thinking of going back is making me ill.

Another question because it looks like i'll be getting ihr.

What figure will I be looking at if im on a 20hr contranct with 4 years service.
Manager seems to think it goes on length of service but I thought it was a set amount.

You will receive a set 34 weeks pay plus 9 weeks pay in lieu of notice plus any outstanding annual leave you have accrued.

If you were IHR on the Friday you start another job in a supermarket the following Monday
