EHS & Driving Question for Union Reps
If EHS have advised R M that a person shud refrain from driving duties due to a health matter and they then try to put you on it can a person refuse???? They have reports in writing... I know they wud prob throw the conduct code and that.

I am not very clued up on this but as we have a few H&S reps on here I have moved it to Union Room. However, I would advise getting a doctors cert Madelin and contacting your own union rep as well. they should also get this in writing from their GP and as soon as they are asked to drive they should register grevience. Might be an idea for rep to go in with them straight away on Monday and make it clear that member won't go against medical advice. Ask manager if they are a qualified doctor.
