Choice

Keyword--CHOICE. Choice is democracy, Choice is freedom. These days we have plenty of choice. Where to shop. What pub to drink at. Who to marry.Whether to go on strike, and so on. Lack of choice leads to corruption, stagnation, and sometimes war. You may not like it but choice in the mail business is a good thing and will eventually lead to good quality of service.( No i'm not a management mouthpiece.) I believe that choice should be extended, so that we have more choice than just, ' to stay in the job or quit'.I believe we should have the opportunity to vote on who is running Royal Mail. After all we spend our working lives in the job. At the very least we should have some union representation on the management board. That doesn't take a lot of imagination surely? -- I also think we should have more choice as to who is running the country, and more choice as to the policy of the government.

Good point buzzer. The union has members on the pensions committee so why not on the board.
The new non exec director Mr Carter used to be cheif exec of NTL. Big loss making cable contractor that failed on the premier league PPV before a ball was kicked, whilst he was in charge. Another great aquisition.

Choice is also stressful,
some years ago i managed a jewellers,and we sold watch straps(amongst other things)
when someone came through the door they basically wanted either brown or black(a choice of two)
but i gave them a selection of about 50,anything from pigskin,snakeskin,even bloody foreskin.
More people walked out thinking about it,than buying anything.
As for t.v. i enjoyed/watched more when we only had 3/4 channels.
Choice at work,no thanks,i'll stick with my duty.

B/R's all the way.... NO STRESS THERE!!! FECK DOM BABYSITTING AND CALLERS... Bin there throttled that marmelized them and pulled down the shutters and cryed all weekend... Na i just hate PEOPLE.... Now you can whined any nutters up behind 3 inches of paper proof glass but it got boring after a while... I loved the little dolly dealers who came in tho... OHHHHHHHHH In Whitechapel my mate and he comes on ere got loads of page 3 tarts.. RESULT.... iVE SEEN Jac Degg and a few others with there 739's out for the lads!!!
