SA's and meal breaks
am in a disagreement with management regarding SA's. we have people who regularly are starting SA's directly after finishing their regular duties. in these instances i believe they can have a meal break based on the SA time added to their duty time because it is continuous. management are saying that SA's are a seperate entity and so they are only entitled to meal relief based on their normal duty times. any help please, thankyou

Yes they are entitled to extra break but it is unpaid

Phil is correct,only on Sundays do you get a paid break...
