interesting development on planning meeting today

in our revision planning meeting today, i was my usual self, slowly,slowly,catchy monkey

i pushed the issue on the inward work flow and iwt

the planners have addmitted from clear down, they expect staff to be tied up and in the van within 45 minutes. they have based a prep rate of 13 items per minute. this includes d2d, kill offs, redirections, etc

the prep rate does not include

tie up, place bags etc in york, collect keys and tabs, specials, distance to loading bay, distance to van, load up xyz bags, oversized parcels, lwt etc, return york and vehicle checks

when questioned on this, the response was they have no authority to chage the paramiters
and they wonder why these revisions are failing, end result was on leaving

i placed the whole revision into a stage 1 disagreement

I think the 13 mins or similar has been banded about on here before.
But the 45 mins seems way out.

Do you mean they are expecting you to prep the frames at 13 items/minute and then give you 45 minutes to tie down and load the van?
The way it is written suggests no walk would have more than 585 items to prep and deliver.

EXACTLY HOW THEY ARE PLANNING IT is the whole indoor elemant from tie down is at 13 items per minute including door to door etc but bagging up etc is not included in the spans
