I have been attending every other Saturday at work for the last seven years due to childcare issues. When new duty times were introduced this option was with drawn for me,on the grounds that as i attended mon-fri with Saturday as s.a. it was my responsibility to cover this as and when now and not the managers. The manager is implying that all the staff have to attend on Saturday which is not the case i know at least two who do not attend any Saturdays.I feel that i am being bullied by the manager into a situation that i can not address i am currentley off work due to the stress this has caused.

Are you saying you've worked every other saturday in the past on SA, and now they want you to attend on Saturdays as part of your new duty? what was the arguement losing your SA or having to work saturdays!

Have youy formally applied for FF consideration with the DOM? If it was just an arrangement previously you need to start this procedure ASAP. See rep. Your dom has a legal obligation to at least look into FF duties for you and a good reason why not if he dosent consent, again this is where your rep should come in to check that its valid, Good luck. FF is a ball ache to management but its law.

Usually when i begin FF investigation then Lino's/dom get stressed and make some sort of arrangement so that it fits.

problem is f f is being abused by some members of our union sad to say.we had f f dutys in our office but it got to the stage were everyone was puting in for it and the dom pulled them due to them being over-subscribed.
