annual leave entitlement following a career break

I've just returned from a 3 year career break: June 2008 to June 2011. What will my annual leave entitlement be? By the time I went on leave in June 2008 I had taken 1 week of annual leave for the 2008 - 2009 year.

I've just returned from a 3 year career break: June 2008 to June 2011. What will my annual leave entitlement be? By the time I went on leave in June 2008 I had taken 1 week of annual leave for the 2008 - 2009 year.

It will be a ratio of a full years entitlement.

As we start out leave year in April and June is 3 months later you will be entitled to 3/4 of the annual entitlement for your length of service.

So if you get full 6 weeks then your entitlement for 2011/2012 would be 4 and a half weeks

If only 4 weeks then 2011/201 entitlement would be 3 weeks.

Simples.
