have not been a rep for long but am really sad at some of the members in our office.because you try to do what they ask of you but they are unwilliing to do anything about it themselves. it like they think you can change everything on your own but i thought the hole point of a union was to try to change things together.
allso why oh why do they moan about other postman what the f#### that about postman a gets done 10 minutes before postman b so what do you pay there wages.i dont get done till my time and could not give a hoot what time anyone else gets done as long as there not forced to work over. hope its just a bad day though

keep trying your best,we aint got a rep in our office ,and strangely enough we are the last office in our area to go through a revision park and loop.we all get taken for granted,never known morale to be so low.

stick with it mate, there are bad days and there are really bad days, there are days when you feel like the loneliest person in the office where you can't please anyone.

However, there are good days, and the good days can feel really good!

Also don't forget that although they don't always show it, most of your members will have alot of respect for you, as long as you are doing your best and not using your role for your own gain.

The first time, that because of your representation, someone keeps there job, you will feel on top of the world.

i was a rep up until a month ago..giving it up was hard but also the best thing i have done in rm.ungrateful unthinking members truly do not help.they expect the world and give nothing in my office.....happy days again!
