customer dispute- please advise!!

Just a bit worried because I had a run in with one of my customers who I bearly see but he was blatently shouting and hurling abuse at me because I was about to jump over his garden and also because I lean my bike up against his post! Petty things I know, also accused me of mis-deliveries, I told him I wouldnt be spoken to that way and told him he could pick his mail up from office- he went on and on being rude and nasty so I told him to f off lol silly I know but there were no witnesses around and now he has been to my office and complained in person so just wondering what the worse can happen is??? I am young woman who seems always face prejuduce against men!
Please advise

(never come up against so many disputes in all my working life as being at royal mail due to working in admin where ppl tend to resepct each other more)
I really hate this job now, the way customers look down their nose at you with utter contempt for no reason at all- old buggers mostly ot will ignore you completely!!
