Im used to work an early shift (0700-1500 Tues - Sat), currently our office is moving to another site, i recieved a letter from Royal Mail giving me 2 weeks notice that my shift will change to 1200-2000. My S.A used to be (Wed, Thurs 1530-1930), i haven't recieved a letter saying my S.A will cease.
Im very upset that they seem to think i can afford to lose this, i was aware as we were going to lose this on Oct 3rd as that is when our office was due to move but it could be til mid Oct now which is another 5-6 weeks away, my wife has made arrangements with her work to fit round this as we have 3 children 6 and under. I have spoken to my manager to try and work my S.A on my day off (Monday 1200- 2000), but all i get is we cant do this as there's not enough work for me on the Monday.
Someone please help know where i stand as i feel Royal Mail could'nt give a **** about me or my circumstances!!!!
