Yes a van, but classed as a motorised town and after 3/4 years you just get used to it, no OT, no working your day off, no rushing around just do the job at a steady pace and you can do it.

BTW it's the way RM is going, if you want a FT job then it'll be 6 hour deliveries.

Been fulltime for the last 12yrs m8,been through the revision and plumped for a four hour town walk using a hct.All our town walks are based loosely on the four hour delivery span.To be fair apart from the really heavy days this is achievable,rurals have a 6hr span but a lot of driving so not quite as physical.Been browsing this forum for a while before posting and cant believe the shite thats going on in thejob, we seem to have come up smelling of roses at the moment but i guess this could change anytime

I think the extra long deliveries will lead to more injuries and sick leave.It will be too physically demanding, 6 days a week for 5 weeks. Id rather prep 2 or 3 deliveries for pt than take on too much outdoor work. Currently, including the lapsing im cycling/walking for about 4 hours a day. Certainly no fun at all especially given the recent weather which us southern softies detest
