My rep shower me a disagreement about moving to later starts with the introduction of WSM.
It is signed by the Divisional Reps but it says:
CWU Position
The shorter working week impact would be implemented on deployment of the fully integrated end state revision.
I thought the shorter working week was to be introduced in line with the introduction of WSM?
Shorter Working Week
A shorter working week (reduced by one hour per week to 39 hours) for full time staff will be phased in line with walk sequencing revisions. Part-time employees will benefit through an increased hourly rate.
If they introduce WSM but don't introduce the 39hr week, won't that mean we have extra indoor time which will be translated into extra lapsing?
WTF are the Divi Reps thinking about?

An intregrated revison is the name given to the walk sequencing revison.
The 39 hour week comes in on the basis of an intregrated walk sequencing revison.

Re: Heads of in Principle Disagreement
So what is the "end state" bit in the CWU position.
As you have more experience in these things, are you saying the Divi Reps position is correct and we can all sleep a bit easier in our beds?
There has been much chatter about the imminent arrival of WSM, but no discussion whatsoever about SWW.

Re: Heads of in Principle Disagreement
I am saying if you have had your intial £200 payment for a self starter / delivery methods revison then the walk sequencing revison is therefore the end state intregrated revison.
If this is correct that your divisonal reps statment is correct.

Re: Heads of in Principle Disagreement
We haven't had a self starter/DM revision.
That is why I fear they are not going to bring in the SWW until then.

Re: Heads of in Principle Disagreement
As far as i was aware an integrated revision was a combined walk sequence/delivery methods revision.
Although i didn't think they had the balls to try those anymore....they tend to be messy.

Re: Heads of in Principle Disagreement
If you are going to start getting sequenced mail but have not yet had the associated revision then you will not get any payment or shorter working week. The chances are they will try and increase lapsing or stop any OT for PT to come in early and prep/sort if you have that. We are in this position in my office, sequencing starts in two weeks but we are not getting the revision until next year. This means the extra walks we have lapsed through the summer are likely to continue to be lapsed :/

You'll not get the SWW or any bonus payment now, we've been told that there's not the money to pay for it so we won't be getting it (not to mention they need to put hours into my office just to make it work).
And what's the union doing......................seems like they're blaming us for it

Well although they put out a flyer on when the monies should be paid it seems to me it is still a nedulous area.DGP1 wrote:You'll not get the SWW or any bonus payment now, we've been told that there's not the money to pay for it so we won't be getting it (not to mention they need to put hours into my office just to make it work).

We had the full DM revision last November, all P&L and LCT/HCT and received the £200 in February, the WSMs came in with sequenced mail in March BUT we haven't introduced the indoor revision yet, because according to the manager we can't save any hours - so we haven't had the £600 or the £200 or the 39 hr week. The rep has gone into disagreement but..............................
I believe we should get the remainder of the money and the reduced hour because almost all of the agreement has been fulfilled by us and the stumbling block is of RMs making.

Re: Heads of in Principle Disagreement
Dingo, does this mean that the introduction of Walk Sequenced Mail, doesn't automatically bring a WSM revision, with a 39 hour week and 1 in 4 Saturdays. Would I be right in thinking that our start finish times cannot be changed until the revision is agreed and in place.
