moving start times

wee rumour heard today mgmnt want to move our start times probably to 7am
reason being because of css machines in do which are expected to start running next week.
can they just move our start times without
1 no consultation over plans
2 no letters or notice given to workforce thought it was 28 days notice legal requirment
3 no vrs being offered if time changes cant suit everyone
4 no family friendly hours being offered
5 no 1 in 4 sats off yet
6 no 39 hr week as per css agreement as yet
7 no bonus payments even spoken about
nb we have not even had the courtesy of having union meeting to discuss where we stand on these issues
so come on tamsky whats happening
where do we stand on this
do we still have to agree to this locally can we go to disagreement locally

After weeks of nothing we get a response this week from RM on the Disagreement. Meeting with Divisional reps arranged and Union Leadership will brief reps on Friday with RM Scotland.
Our demands couldn't be clearer and we need a clear response.

Tamsky could be an interesting week, hope the members of the affected units are kept well informed and enough notice for you and local reps to do the rounds if executive action is implemented.If so be astounded if the union don't go to triburnal as the law is on the workforces side.

So its got to tie in with when the mail arrives.

Our office is being asked to start at 6:45 with our last feed due in about 07:50.

I'm not so sure the later starts are to do with walk sequencing. Our second wave sequenced is due to arrive at 0745 and the manual at 0700. Despite this they want us to start at 0700 on wed-fri and 0745 on mon, tue & sat, so by the time we get in all the mail will be in the building and the majority of it will have been sat there for three hours or more doing nothing! RM seem to just want later starts for the sake of it to piss people off.

have a read back through a couple of weeks of dingos threads, he put something up about disagreements with mail arriving before start times.

if your on a 9 day fortnight they cant move your start times by much cos regulator has last letter set at 3pm so there isnt much they can do
