door 2 door payments

I was talking to an Ftc at my office and we was talking about payments and he showed me that he only recieved 15 pounds a week door2door payment he is on a 30 hour contract and is expected to deliver all door to doors is this right.

He, you, me and all of us get paid nothing whatsoever for delivering Door To Doors, it's just part of the workload now.
We do though get paid a 'Delivery Supplement', £20.89 for forty hours and pro rata for part timers.

Sorry not picking on your post but the Delivery Supplement nothing to do with D2Ds anymore - and unless we can everyone to recognise that then we can't target our frustration where it should be. Namely, the fact that it hasn't really been included in the workload, all they did was change the call rate on the outside portion and added nothing to the indoor workload. Now that is something the CWU should be looking at

it was rigged by the union to get a yes vote.as there are more indoor guys /drivers ect.than real postmen,the indoor guys voted for what was best for them.now they get the same payment for sweat fa extra , and our part time friends lose money hand over fist..they would not split votes for what you did so everyone else voted to screw over the real postman.but thats=just=my=opininon

Hello can anyone hear me - is this thing on.

1. All other functions get there own supplement. MCs (indoor guys?) get £8
2. Delivery members Out number all other functions.
3. Walking Posties/P&L included outnumber drivers and indoor workers in any DO and therefore across the UK. A section of 30 walks will have 36 walkers and 5 or 6 Drivers, and possibly 3 indoor staff.


I think accepting agreement that the Delivery Supplement was part of, was a mistake, and I think the CWU made a mistake in trying to ring fence the money this way. However if we want to change it, we have present that facts as they are not as we think they are. If we argue a point from ignorance then we will lose.
