ATOS Functional skills program?

Anyone out there know anything about the 'Functional skills program' which my DOM and ATOS have decided I should go on? - because they dont want to think about 'reasonable adjustments'!!!

it's to assess just what jobs you can do effectively so that if they have to make a reasonable adjustment then they can say that they have followed procedure.

By the way just how do you know they don't want to make a reasonable adjustments?
Have they said so face to face?
They never learn.

on paper they make it look as if they are making the adjustments but in reality they are not! eg taking a hill off the delivery then making me walk up it anyway to the pouch box. Refusing to change a hilly bit for a flat alternative because they have already taken one hill off. Pretending to be making the changes as 'reasonable adjustments' when they would have to make the changes anyway because deliveries have been revised and my 20 hours means theyve got to take some off regardless of the disability.

if the ATOS recomendations are too much for you to manage visit your GP and explain the situation.

GP writes you a line, DOM rerefers you to ATOS, ATOS try again.

ATOS recomendations were spot on in last report but dom finding them difficult to understand!! ( my 5 year old can understand them but hey!!) so now on to functional skills program!!

same applies, if your DOM is being a twat get to your GP.

start again at square one, management love it

atos and gp dont normally go against each other, atos reports allowed me to have more time off, they were ok.
