Sickness Stage 2

I've my Stage 2 interview tomorrow. Spoke to the Area Rep yesterday concerning this. I was issued a Stage 1 last year after my knee op which I and the AR think is wrong. I had to have the operation because of an AOD. Had 6 days off in February because I was/still am having issues with my knee and had 2 days off last week because I was puking so triggered the Stage 2. Area Rep said if the Stage 2 is issued I'm to put in a personal grievence against the manager. Told my DO Rep what he said and his response was 'it should've been dealt with at the time' and he walked off. He came back a while later and asked who went in with me for the Stage 1 interview, I told him it was him and he never said a word. He has been slagging me off to the old sub rep saying I should know everything by now, is he wanting me to represent myself in this interview or something! I've had no training and to be honest I know f**k all about procedure.

Right or wrong , the stage 1 was issued and stands as there is no appeal at stage 1 or 2 .The only time you can argue either stages is if you get to a stage 3 .Stage warnings can be issued even on AODs if the manager finds any culpability on your part .

The Stage 2 was issued this morning, i told my rep I wanted to put in a grievence as suggested by AR. He said I should've done it when the Stage 1 was issued but I did'nt know I could and he never said a word about it. He said I should know these things being sub rep but I was'nt sub when I was issued the Stage 1. I've now resigned as sub as he spoke to me like a piece of s**t and I will be speaking to the AR about it on Monday.
