Hi all just a quick question been off sick for 2 days with a cold my dom want's me to come in on saturday morning for a face to face chat lol not my return to work do i have to attend as it's my weekend off.

When are you planning on returning to work?
If Saturday and Monday are your days off, and you are planning on returning on Tuesday, inform him of the fact or they will count Sat,Sun,Mon as sick days.
If you give him a return to work day, the face to face will be irrelevant.
If you are not planning on returning to work on Tuesday - attend the face to face if you are well enough. If you are not, don't.

the dreaded sick absence meeting.

basically they will ask if you want to be referred to ATOS.

i spoke to our area rep when i got mine, he told me to tell the DOM i couldnt possibly travel due to my ailments and that he could visit me at home.

needless to say he asked the question over the phone.

just tell him your to ill and he can come to you but tell him today or tomorow
