What happens if you start a rehab programme as recommended by ATOS but can't complete it?

4. Limited progress may be due to overestimating an individual's capability given the employee's physical/ psychological state and/or inappropriate job or hours of work. The rehabilitation period may require adjustments to job content or hours of attendance in the light of experience and EHS recommendations or a gradual build up may be incorporated in the initial rehabilitation plan and adjusted if necessary according to progress.

hope they give me a good rehab programme just had a major ankle opp which was caused by a accedent on duty and more complactions as atos rushed me back to work to quickly last time and this time had my opp and two hours aftergeting out of hospital the nobs were on the phone to me . me straight on phone to the union

Presumably he failed his dignity and respect training. But seriously. It's people like him, who're responsible for the B&H culture in RM Management. Hasn't it occured to them, that they're costing RM a fortune in sick pay, for those who end up with stress and depression?

I have no intention of censoring anyone, unless they breach the Board Rules of course. I was merely pointing out, that I, and many others, have come across exactly the attitude you displayed, at work. And I'm sure I'm not the only one, who's noticed that since that rigid, advisarial attitude has become prevelant. There's been a huge increase in cases of stress and depression. We're just seen as items on a Spreadsheet, rather than Human Beings. Managers with any compassion, or who even treat their staff with the slightest trace of dignity, are becoming increasingly rare.

I'm sorry if you saw my post as an attempt to censor you. I just took exception as an individual (rather than having any complaint as a Moderator) to your sweeping statement, that if someone is incapable of following their ATOS Rehab programme, they should face the sack. ATOS make mistakes. Particularly since they started using that Expert System (sorry, I can't remember what it's called) instead of qualified Medical Practitioners (either Doctors or Nurse Practitioners), for their telephone consultations.

Censorship may offend you it does me, as does not debating in good faith. But censorship does not mean commenting in the negative to one of your posts. It means deleting or removing them, changing their meaning or amending them. Was your post censored - no its still there in all its glory - Therefore it was commented on not censored.
